ABOUT US
We exist within a world that grows more intricate by the day, shaped by evolving minds and expanding interpretations of art. KARM is born from the belief that human thought extends beyond rigid definitions of good or bad, right or wrong. Meaning, after all, is rarely singular.
We imagine ourselves as curators of a Modern Art Gallery - a space where colour, texture, taste, and aroma are not merely elements of a meal, but instruments that accompany the diner’s imagination. The table becomes a stage for those willing to receive, reflect, and engage; always intimate, yet always open.
KARM presents fine dining experiences that move beyond memory-making. It invites reflection.
It asks questions quietly. It encourages thought to linger long after the final course.
You do not simply leave having eaten. You leave having mindfully paused.
THE CHEF
Chef Mayank Ladwal is a Mumbai-based chef known for crafting immersive dining experiences that blend his artistic perspective with contemporary technique. He focuses on his ingredients, letting the produce decide the story to share.
Between training with Marriott, Bombay Daak, and hosting his own private events, his work draws inspiration from first-hand encounters with people, places, and cultures that haven't been highlighted in mainstream media.

Through KARM, Chef Mayank explores a deeply personal culinary language; one that celebrates produce, local sourcing, emotion, and artistry.
He also endorses dipping dosa in Fanta.

THE CURATOR
Ashima Ladwal is a curator and strategist with a background in marketing, branding, and experience design. Her work is rooted in understanding how people engage, not just with food, but with the environment, the narrative, and the details that shape perception.

With a strong attention to detail, she approaches dining as a multi-sensory experience. From the choice of cutlery to the composition of space, every element is considered for how it influences what you feel and remember.

Through KARM, Ashima shapes the immersive language of each experience, creating moments that invite people to slow down and engage more deeply.
Outside of this, she loves espressos and F1 weekends.
